Football Shooting Technique
The key to the much longed for shooting power has much to do with technique. Shooting accuracy has everything to do with technique. It is a shame that most players know very little about shooting a football ball correctly because it would greatly improve there shot.
In this article will explain every aspect of shooting technique. Players who implement these will see their football shot improve drastically. Coaches who teach proper shooting to his or her team will see dramatic improvement in scoring.
1. The parts of the ball.
Kicking the right part a ball will make the ball go left. Kicking under the ball will make the ball go high. Kicking the middle of the ball will make the ball go straight. Players should know what part of the ball to strike depending on the position from where they shoot the ball.
2. The Place Foot.
The place foot — the foot that is not striking the ball — is an important part of a football shot. Players should place there place foot even with the ball so the ball does not fly over the goal.
3. Look at the ball.
When shooting, players should always look at the ball, specifically the part of the ball they are going to strike.
4. The Swing
Players should swing there leg back far to gain momentum. The swing should be fluid with the place foot; the place foot should go into position as the shooting leg swings back. The motion should be almost like a hop.
5. Striking the ball
Players should go completely through the ball; stopping when you hit the ball will cause the ball to lose much of its power.
There you have it; the short and sweet explanation of a football shoot. Utilizing the correct shooting technique I have shown will make improve your shot and make you a better player overall.
